SHSR team visited South China Agricultural University in China

During 20 October to 16 November 2024, a team from School of Health Sciences Research, Research Institute for Health Sciences, Chiang Mai University consisting of Asst. Prof. Dr. Surat Hongsibsong, SHSR Head; PhD students, Mr. Peerapong Jeeno and Mr. Sumed Yadoung, from the PhD program in Environmental Science, Faculty of Sciences, Chiang Mai University; as well as Ms. Pichamon Yana, a post-master’s strategic researcher, had visited South China Agricultural University in China. During their visit, the team has discussed and exchanged knowledge, as well as conducted the research from the cooperation project regarding “the production of innovative pollutant testing kits”, which is a collaborative research project between Chiang Mai University and South China Agricultural University, funded by Chiang Mai University to build a research cooperation network between the two institutes. During their visit, they have presented the progress of the research project. Also, the Guangdong Provincial Laboratory of Food Quality and Safety, College of Food Science team, consisting of Professor Dr. Zhen-Lin Xu, Professor Dr. Lin Luo, Professor Dr. Mei Deng, and Professor Dr. Hong Wang also led them on a facility tour of the university’s scientific laboratories.
