The School of Health Sciences Research, Chiang Mai University, welcomed international experts in a workshop to follow up on the progress of PhD students’ research publications
On 10 February 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Surat Hongsibson, Head of School of Health Sciences Research, welcomed Prof. Chuleui Jung from Andong National University, South Korea; Prof. Michael Burgett from Oregon State University: and Dr. Bajaree Chattrathong from the Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University, joining the workshop on preparation of research articles for international publication. The meeting aims to develop and prepare a manuscript for submission to an international journal.
During the meeting, a research paper titled “Nutritional Analysis of Honey Bee Drone Larvae (Apis mellifera L.) in Thailand: Exploring Its Potential as an Alternative Food Source” was presented by Miss Panika Tongjai, a PhD student under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Hongsibson. In addition, the experts also discussed with attendees on strategies for future research collaboration opportunities for students, which will be highly beneficial in supporting research and strengthening international academic networks.
