On 11th August,2023.School of health sciences research,CMU held research presentation by Dr. Lin Luo to faculty and student.
Presentation title: Nanomaterials-enabled ratiometric fluorescence immunoassay (RFIA) for sensitive detection of chemical contaminants detection in foods
Dr. Lin Luo is an associate professor at College of Food Science, South China Agricultural University, and a permanent researcher of Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Food Quality and Safety. He serves as guest editor or review editor for Foods (Q2), Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems (Q2) and Frontiers in Chemistry (Q3). His main research interest focuses on design and synthesis of hapten, and antibody production against food containments, development of immunoassays and sensors for food safety detection. Till now, he has about 60 publications and 15 patents in the field of food safety and detection. In 2022, Dr. Lin Luo was awarded First Prize of Science and Technology Award by Chinese Food Industry Association due to his contribution to the development of rapid detection technology and controlling technology for new harmful substances during food processing.
