Focuses on clinical research on HIV/AIDS and sexual transmitted disease and emerging infectious diseases aiming at discovering factors and solution for infectious diseases via research conduct with clinical examination, diagnosis as well as enhancing infectious disease service management via standard research procedure.
Non-communicable diseases and the elderly
Focuses on clinical research related to factors, cause and prevention of non-communicable diseases in individual and patient in order to prevent possible problems from the impact of non-communicable diseases with the use of standardized and reliable research equipment and tools.
Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences
Focuses on examining diseases possibly caused by environmental impact on human health in terms of air pollution and food safety by analyzing exposure to air pollution and pesticides in both human and environment, using high standardized reliable tools. The program also focuses on producing simple test kits for primary testing of food contamination, using environmental samples and biological samples such as blood and urine.
Molecular and cell biology
Focuses on research to detect infection and analyze cause and infection procedure in human to enhance proper prevention and treatment in preparation to handle various diseases. The program also emphasizes on applied research using molecular technique and other technologies in developing research techniques and procedure to enhance the more effective testing method.
Functional Food for Health
The Functional Food for Health program is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in food science, biotechnology, nutrition, and health applications. The program focuses on the science behind bioactive compounds, functional ingredients, and their role in disease prevention and overall health enhancement. Students will gain expertise in functional food formulation, biochemistry, nutrigenomics, clinical research, and food safety regulations, preparing them for careers in food innovation, health industries, and scientific research.
